The news broke this morning about a local Baltimore County school (Kenwood High School) being dismissed early on account of an alleged bomb threat. Police are on the scene and this is what is being report, according to WJZ News:
Baltimore County Police are still on scene investigating the threat at the Essex school, which they learned about around 6 a.m. Streets in the area are blocked off as police investigate.
Police have searched the school and no injuries were reports.
Students were diverted to Eastern Tech High and Stemmers Run Middle School Friday morning until Baltimore County Public Schools announced the school would close early.
Baltimore County Public Schools closed the school at 9:30 a.m. as a precaution due to the threat.
