New One and Traffic Anchor for Radio One Baltimore, Rob Base broke the news about Baltimore Ravens Running Back Ray Rice, being suspended for two (2) games this coming football season. There is no word as to which game he’ll sit out, but this is what is what we do know, according to The Baltimore Sun:
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will hand down a two-game suspension to Rice for violating the league’s personal conduct policy, sources confirmed. The league has not officially announced the suspension.
That will keep the three-time Pro Bowl selection out of divisional games against the Cincinnati Bengals (Sept. 7) and Pittsburgh Steelers (Sept.11).
Under terms of the two-game suspension for violating the NFL personal conduct policy, Rice would lose two game checks for total of $470,588.
