A man claiming to be the estranged father of Iggy Azalea has surfaced. The man in question has reportedly come out of hiding after decades of being estranged from his daughter.
Brendan James Kelly contacted Australian media outlets to inform them that he is the father of the 24-year-old rap sensation. The man’s email contained a hyperlink to his website which stated that he had two daughters, Amethyst Kelly and Emerald Kelly. Amethyst Kelly is the birth name of Azalea, and Emerald Kelly is her younger sister. The man’s site contains links to his Twitter and Facebook pages, on which he has posted photos of what he claims is his older daughter. One picture depicts Azalea taking a bath at a young age, while the other shows her playing with her dog. The dog’s name, Iggy Boy, is allegedly the Fancy singer’s namesake for her alias. The final photo appeared on the rapper’s birthday. It consisted of Azalea holding a children’s castle, with her alleged father posting a caption to wish the singer a happy birthday and making reference to said toy castle.
