It’s funny how every time we “NEED” something from somebody, we always have our hand out. Even worse is when expect people to react on “OUR” time. There’s nothing that upsets me more than that. I thought that it being Martin Luther King Jr.’s holiday that people would give back without taking two thoughts about it. it surprised me when only 10 people showed up. 6 were kids that their parents came out to involve the children, showing the value of giving. I guess that was the bigger picture. It’s not how many gives, it’s WHO. All the can goods and perishable items were given to “The Bea Gaddy Foundation.” We shouldn’t just collect food during the holidays. Lord knows people are hungry all year round. Just know that everything that was collected was used for their “Lunch Rush” were over 400 people were feed. We are too blessed not to help one another. Think of where you began…. remember those times when you were asking God, “Why?” Let’s all move forward on becoming a better person. Not only for yourself, but for your children, friends, and family.
