All is not lost with the youth of Baltimore. Elijah Miles, an intern at Teach of America Baltimore, delivers a inspirational speech to a group of incoming teachers.
He confesses that his teachers greatly impacted his life in a positive way, despite that negative and yet harsh realities of his life.
Because his teachers never gave up on him, he is the man standing before them today.
Elijah has graduated high school. He will be a student at Morgan State in the Fall.
