Well technically they were teenage girls when they went missing and now they are grown women. I know it’s a happy day for the family of these three women who managed to escape the 52 year old that abducted them. The women were Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michele Knight and they all have been taken to a hospital to reunite with relatives and seem to be in good health.
I am so happy for them but I am also pissed that there was no Amber Alert issued for Gina DeJesus… because no one saw her abducted. Her father Felix said, “The Amber Alert should work for any missing child… It doesn’t have to be an abduction. Whether it’s an abduction or a runaway, a child needs to be found. We need to change this law.”
