Rihanna and A$AP Rocky rolled through Baltimore Wednesday night with the “Diamonds World Tour” at the 1st Mariner Arena. This show had to be one of the hottest concerts of the year.  A$AP opened up the show performing some of his latest hits and the crowd was turned up. He thanked his Baltimore fans for showing him love and appreciation throughout his music career.

Rihanna followed with an opening number of “Mother Mary” off of her “Unapologetic” album. She had all of her fans in a frenzy with her amazing introduction. She also took it back and performed some of her hits from the beginning of her career. Rihanna had fans screaming at the top of their lungs and few were in tears.

She lit up the stage with high energy, smiles, and laughter.  Ms. Diamonds herself, stopped halfway in beginning apologizing to her fans about canceling her first set tour date for Baltimore due to catching the flu and Laryngitis. Rih Rih expressed her love and appreciation for her Baltimore fans, screaming “I love you Baltimore, you guys are crazy.”

Finally, halfway through the show Rihanna decided that she wanted to get up close and personal with her fans. She got down in the crowd to say hello to her fans and she hopped back on stage. She was loving the crowds energy so much that she came off stage again and sang to a bunch of screaming fans.  There wasn’t a clear aisle or section in the building. Rihanna had everyone turned up, even the security!

Also, through a brief intermission the fans went bananas while doing the infamous “Harlem Shake,” which has gone viral for a few months now on YouTube. Overall, If you weren’t there you missed out on one of the hottest concerts of the year, hands down!
