Wednesday we got the news that Baltimore Ravens legend Ray Lewis will be retiring at the end of the season after 17 years in the NFL. Baltimore Ravens Ray Rice and Jameel McClain reflect on Ray Lewis.

Lewis said,

“It is time for me to create a new legacy. I talked to my team today,” Lewis said Wednesday. “I talked to them about life in general and everything that starts has an end. For me, today, I told my team that this will be my last ride.”

Those very words affected a lot of people, the Ravens nation and all his teammates. My immediate thoughts were ‘I wonder how the team is doing and if the news  would weigh on their performance against the Colts Sunday and most of all what words of wisdom the legend Ray Lewis left his teammates with.’  So I made a phone call to my buddies Ray Rice & Jameel McClain and they answered that and much more. Check out the exclusive interview below!

“Everybody loves Ray and not for just football but for what he has done for Baltimore. It was even said that when the Ravens were winning football games, the crime went down in Baltimore.”

“The best  advice that I was given by ray is life is bigger than this game,” Jameel McClain said.
