A young Kenyan mother Millicent Owur has named her newborn twin sons after the U.S. president-elect and his defeated Republican challenger. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney were born on Wednesday at the Siaya District Hospital in southwest Kenya where Owuor told the Kenyan news outlet her sons’ names will always remind her of the election in the United States.
Also the hospital where the twins were born is near the village of Kogelo, where President Barack Obama’s father was born and where his 90-year-old step grandmother, Sarah Obama, resides.
