Not sure if this is they way you want to honor your Dad’s legacy but, Venisha Brown, the daughter of the late James Brown, is being charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle in Richmond County, Georgia and is being held by North Augusta authorities. They’ve issued warrants against Brown for possession of a stolen vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident and first-degree assault and battery.
The Augusta Chronicle reports that police responded to the scene of an accident around 9am Monday (July 23rd), where they found a 46-year old woman, Hope Ellis Campbell, with injuries.
Campbell told officers she had spotted her employee, Venisha Brown, in a Chevrolet Suburban stolen from St. Stephen Ministries Church the previous day. Campbell was trying to gain control of the vehicle when she was injured.
Campbell told officers that she reached into the SUV to take the keys but Brown hit the gas, accelerated, an dragged Campbell into and over the hood of another vehicle parked near the Suburban.
Deputies recovered the stolen car early Tuesday morning around 1am and finally found Brown at another location on the verge of assaulting another woman.
I’m not sure what I’m more impressed with… Venisha Brown’s gangsta, or her uncanny resemblance to her father!
