Off the success of the Red Tails Neyo is on a roll but he has decided to slow down from acting and focus more on upcoming project R.E.D. The movie role to play Dr. Martin Luther King required him to gain 30 pounds would have affected his promo and videos for the album which is due out in September.
Neyo went on to say about the opportunity “They wanted to start shooting at the time my album R.E.D. comes out and wanted me to gain 30 pounds, so I couldn’t do it. I’m kicking myself but acting can’t take the place of my music. Plus, I’ve been killing myself in the gym for months preparing for this album because I wanted a complete makeover.”
