Check it out… that’s the Q Crew’s Dirty Rice, Nelly and my big ol’ belly.
We greeted him downtown at the Cricket store on Eutaw Street ( near lexington market). He’s in town for the taping of the new CW talent /reality show “The Next”. “The Next” will feature a nationwisde search for undiscovered artists on the bring of stardom and pair them up with celebrity mentors.
The mentors will travel the country and immerse themselves in the lives and local culture of performers as they vie for a chance to represent their town on stage in front of America.
The show’s mentors are Nelly, Joe Jonas, Gloria Estefan and John Rich and they will all be in the Hippodrome tonight for the performance taping. Baltimore fans have been encouraged to come support their favorite act and Jordan Cohen, the show’s producer, said he hopes to see a lot of local flavor tonight.
I think it will be an awesome event with a great turn out! Look at all the folks that came out this morning just to meet Nelly.
