Drivers slow down on the roads because Baltimore County police are ready to activate more speed cameras near schools.

Starting Thursday, four more speed cameras will be activated. They are at Loch Raven Academy on Goucher Boulevard; Seven Oaks Elementary in Perry Hall; Bais Yaakov in Owings Mills, and Winands Elementary in Randallstown.

The county is working towards having 27 speed cameras total.
