The D.A. Salutes Aaron Maybin of the NY Jets
This New York Jet’s OLB believes that every child should have access to art education, so every year his organization, Project Mayhem, host’s a week long Celebration Of The Arts.
The week long celebration consisted of Aaron and celebrity friends hosting art workshops and beautification projects in Baltimore City schools, community centers and Sinai Hospital pediatrics.
I got a chance to catch up with him and the crew at Sinai Hospital pediatrics. When we arrived he and his football friends Keion Carpenter and Bryant Johnson were wearing their paper crowns and having a blast with the kids. (pictured above)
They just wrapped up an art workshop with national comic strip creator, Donna Lewis(pictured above with beautiful patient, Gracie). The ballers and the kids worked on creating a super hero comic strip. Donna seemed to be having just as much, if not more fun then her students. Overall, it was a great event and we were thrilled to be a part of it.
Kudos to Aaron, Keion, Bryant, Donna, the Sinai staff, and all cool kids that were involved…you all made our day.
