This month is serves double awareness! Breast Cancer Awareness and Domestic Violence Awarness and I’ll be offering you tips on prevention.
 
Today, let’s focus on breast cancer awareness. Did you know that every 2 minutes, there is a new breast cancer diagnosis? And every 14 minutes a life is lost to breast cancer? The numbers are astounding and it can all be prevented with proper breast examinations.
 
Here are some tips:
1.  Begin by looking at your breasts in the mirror with your shoulders straight and your arms on your hips.
2.  Now raise your arm and look for same changes.

3.  While your in the mirror,  look for any signs of fluid coming out of one or both of your nipples.
4.  Next,  feel your breast while lying down using your right hand to feel your left breast and the left to feel your right.
5.  Finally feel your breast while standing or sitting,  also many woman find it easiest to complete the exam if the skin is wet or slippery.
