The Baltimore Sun is reporting that R&B star, Mario has been arrested and charged with assault after an altercation involving his mother.
Last night police responded to a call in the 900 block of Fell St, from the singer’s mom.
Court records show that Mario Dewar Bennett, has been charged with one count of second-degree assault.
Mario’s bond was set at $50,000, which he paid and was released.

R&B singer Mario was arrested early this morning in Baltimore for allegedly attacking his mother.
In 2007, Mario appeared in the MTV special “I Won’t Love You to Death: The Story of Mario and His Mom,” which dealt with his mother’s heroin addiction.
