New York rapper Foxy Brown has released a new track called “Let Em Know” where she hints at a past romantic relationship with Jay-Z and her expresses her displeasure with Lil Kim.
On the track, Brown references Kim’s extended run on last year’s “Dancing With The Stars” television program.
“The streets talking about the hood going crazy,” Foxy raps, “N*ggas heard I f*cked with Ross and had a n*gga baby/They said I f*cked with Nas and now they say it’s AZ, but on the low, the real n*gga was Jay-Z — way before the God blew, way before the Maybach/Outta town trips to Baltimore…I’d rather be at a club at the bar than to disrespect my hood, you ‘Dancing With The Stars’/Nah, I’m in the hood taking chances with the Gods — I can’t see all you broads, dismantle all your broads — slam a b*tch on her back like I’m John Cena, f*ck that, I ain’t Kim — I ain’t Trina/I’m BK’s own diva.” (“Let Em Know”)
Last March, Foxy inked a blog posting speaking on her past time behind bars and relationship with Hov.
“15 years old,” she wrote. “Brooklyn…So, young Inga, young Shawn, Brooklyn’s Bonnie and Clyde…I created a f*ckin’ hip-hop classic…”Ain’t No N*gga!” And I finally got my name. The one and only Foxy Brown. Bad girl of rap. Fast forward the tape a number of years…On Riker’s Island. Looking at an eight-month bid. Since Shyne got 9, hip-hop’s been on trial…It was during those 23 hours, EVERYDAY, that I looked long and hard at myself. Who I was…from young Inga to Foxy Brown to a number on a docket.” (Global Grind)
Foxy previously went at Kim regarding her television run on a past diss track.
“Y’all rap b*tches are mad rappers, n*gga, I’m a freak and need a hood n*gga to eat it a** backwards,” Brown raps. “Put your money up playboy, the pink p*ssy price cost like a couple keys of that fish scale white/Catch me at Marcy at the mall, but motherf*ckers will never see me ‘Dancing With The Stars’/Never, will I embarrass my borough, I’m too thorough/Dark skin b*tches, we here now…Y’all b*tches wanna be me so bad, y’all studied my whole swag.” (YouTube)
Kim was eliminated from “Dancing With The Stars” last May.
Clustered at the top of the leader board last night were Melissa Rycroft with 57, and Gilles Marini and Shawn Johnson with 56. Lil Kim, who stumbled a few times during her waltz, lingered at 52. And then there was Ty Murray, way down there with 46. The 34 year-old songstress consistently scored high through most of the season, but viewers apparently put their votes elsewhere Monday night.
