Angel Reese Covers NBA 2K26 WNBA Edition

The Baltimore native is the sixth WNBA star to grace the cover of the iconic video game, along with Candace Parker and A'ja Wilson.

Chicago Sky standout Angel Reese is making major moves off the court as she graces the cover of NBA 2K26’s WNBA Edition, set to release on September 5, 2025. The Baltimore native is sharing the cover spotlight with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Carmelo Anthony, who are in the premium “Leave No Doubt” edition.

Even bigger, Reese is sporting her debut signature shoe on the cover, the Angel Reese 1 from Reebok. Designed in collaboration with the basketball star, the shoe embraces both performance and style in the “Diamond Dust” color-way.

Reese released a statement saying she’s very proud of herself and so is the little girl in her. She described her accomplishment as “an honor,” noting that it’s about “representation and showing young girls they can be confident, bold, and take up space unapologetically.”

Reese, a two-time WNBA All-Star, has already rewritten rookie history by reaching 500 points and 500 rebounds in just 38 games, while also setting a league record with 15 consecutive double-doubles. She formerly led her LSU Tigers to a 2023 NCAA title, and her journey is continuing to blaze new ground in women’s basketball.
