Cruise line Royal Caribbean has announced it is moving one of its ships from the Port of Baltimore to a port in Florida. The company said its Vision of the Seas ship will be relocated to Fort Lauderdale, Fl., in late 2026, where it will offer trips through April 2027.

“We cannot comment on future deployment, but we look forward to reviewing opportunities to sail from Baltimore in the future,” a spokesperson for Royal Caribbean said.

The Baltimore Banner reported that the move would cost Baltimore more than 40 cruises each year. The ship is currently scheduled to make 45 trips out of Baltimore in 2025.
