Baltimore native Thomas Booker IV is officially a Super Bowl champ!

The defensive tackle, who grew up in Ellicott City and played high school ball at Gilman, was part of the Philadelphia Eagles team that took down the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday in New Orleans.

This season, Booker put up 18 tackles, a sack, and two tackles for loss.

Originally a fifth-round pick by the Houston Texans in 2022 out of Stanford, he was waived before the 2023 season and landed on the Eagles’ practice squad. He made the most of his opportunity, suiting up for all 17 games this season.

Back in high school, Booker was a four-star recruit at Gilman before becoming a three-year starter at Stanford, where he earned All-Pac-12 second-team honors twice.

So far in his NFL career, he’s racked up 27 tackles and a sack—and now, he’s got a Super Bowl ring to top it all off.
