Uber Driverless Car

According Insider, “the leading ride share company will be expanding its “Upfront Fares” feature to about 30 areas this month.” This switch will allow drivers to have more control in choosing the rides that they can or will accept. It also allows them to reject the ride incentivizing the driver to know that they will get paid by a trusted and vetted consumer.

Uber has recently been under fire from drivers since the beginning of the year due to the surcharge they introduced for fuel. Last month most drivers reported that the cost of gas cut their typical earnings drastically.

So if you don’t get your ride accepted while on your way to work or while away on vacation now you know why.
