Last Night while at the Capitol One Arena against the Washington Wizards, LeBron “King” James officially pass the “Mailman” Karl Malone to become second in All-Time Scoring in the NBA. Coming into the game James only needed 28 points to surpass Malone to claim the second spot. Karl Malone sat at number two with 36,928 points. King James now has 36,929 points. He now only needs 1,458 points to tie Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and 1,459 to become the All-Time Leading scorer in NBA history. The remaining number will continue to decrease this season. James could very well go into next season needed less than 1200 points based upon the amount of games that are left to play in this 2022 season minus the playoffs.

James has plans to play at least three more years in the NBA, with hopes of one of those years being with his son Bronny James. LeBron is currently averaging 29.7 ppg this season. At this pace, he will surpass and own the record by the middle of next year’s season with hopefully a better team record to go along with what will be an historic season for LBJ.
