The good vibes continue to roll for Jazmine Sullivan. She’s expected to perform at this year’s Super Bowl and her project Heaux Tales is No. 1 on the R&B charts.

The R&B star has been racking up the wins as her recently released project Heaux Tales tops the Billboard R&B charts. In the midst of her glow, the NFL announced that Sullivan will perform at Super Bowl LV in Tampa Bay. She’ll be singing the National Anthem alongside country star Eric Church. With the NFL’s recent partnership with Roc Nation to focus on improving its entertainment offerings, it’s no surprise to see a strong voice like Sullivan taking the stage.

“Era of Jazmine”

As one Twitter user, Dollar, suggests, I’m loving this “era of Jazmine Sullivan”. She seems appreciative for all of the support as well when sharing the news that Heaux Tales had achieved that coveted no. 1 album spot. She captioned a warm, “thank u.”

By the Unit.

The project moved 43,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending Jan. 14, according to Billboard.

Heaux Tales has 5 songs that are shaking the charts: “Girl Like Me,” featuring H.E.R. (#10), “On It,” featuring Ari Lennox (#12), “Put It Down” (#17), “Bodies (Intro)” (#19), and “Price Tags,” featuring Anderson .Paak (#24). Heaux Tales has been gaining all sorts of momentum with music reviewers for its honest commentary surrounding women’s issues. NPR calls the project a “bold and timely conversation piece.”

Here’s to continued success for 33 year old songstress who gives her all to the game. It’s interesting to know that Sullivan recorded majority of the EP at her Philadelphia home. I’m anticipating that this is just beginning of a major year of Jazmine Sullivan and we’re looking forward to watching the Queen continue to shine.
