They BeyGOOD Foundation has pledged $500K toward helping families facing eviction.

We’ve heard all of the commentary surrounding the government’s costly inability to agree on Coronavirus aid to Americans. According to VOX, over 40 million Americans could be facing eviction and the BeyGOOD Foundation says they have a “plan to make a difference,” says the organization’s site. Beyonce’s foundation consistently works to paint the world with humility.

“Beyoncé is continuing her heart of support and helping where needed most,” shares the BeyGOOD press release. “Phase Two of the BeyGOOD Impact Fund will now help those impacted by the housing crisis. The housing moratorium is set to end on Dec. 26, resulting in mortgage foreclosures and rental evictions. Many families are impacted, due to the pandemic that resulted in job loss, sickness and overall economy downturn. This holiday season, while many are stressed with what they will do next regarding their housing, we are proud to share some GOOD news. Beyoncé is giving $5k grants to individuals and families facing foreclosures or evictions.”

The foundation shares that the appplication process will begin on January 7th 2021. 100 awardees will be selected and funds will be disbursed at the end of the month. A second round of grants will open in February. Necessary documents must be sent through NAACP.
