My friends have been talking about me since I was kid because I never really celebrated Halloween. In fact, I think I’ve only had like one Halloween party and it ended early because I broke a part of the family fish tank. Long story.

Anyway, as the fall chill comes rushing in so too do the Halloween vibes. We may not be able to hit the streets with our costumes but I’m certainly down to celebrate in front of my TV. For the rest of this month, I want to put together a Halloween watch-list based on your calls and suggestions.

Nightmare on Elm Street

Let’s talk about a series; Nightmare on Elm Street. The series began in 1984 and is the brainchild of famed director, the late Wes Craven. It follows the living nightmare of Freddy Krueger, “a disfigured midnight mangler who preys on the teenagers in their dreams.” The series continued over the next decade and still provides us with the Halloween vibe. It still makes it hard to sleep at night, if that’s what you’re going for.

If you’ve got a suggestion, shoot it over to me on Instagram. It’s above.
