Zach Stafford Urban One and NISSAN Celebrate LGBTQ History Month

Zach Stafford is an award-winning journalist based in New York City. 

Most recently, he served as the co-host of the morning Twitter show AM to DM and editor-in-chief of The Advocate, the world’s longest-running LGBTQ magazineZach has also served as the chief content officer of Grindr where he created the LGBTQ platform INTO, the editor-at-large of Out magazine, and was a journalist at The Guardian where his reporting on police brutality won numerous awards. 

Zach regularly provides commentary on television and has appeared on the BBC, CNN and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. He is the co-editor of the book Boys, An Anthology, the co-author of the forthcoming YA book When Dogs Heal, and the executive producer of the documentary Boystown.  

In 2019, he was included in the Forbes‘ 30 Under 30 list and named one of the 100 most influential living African Americans by The Root.
