The NBA may be returning soon amidst the tough times we’re experiencing.
ESPN reports that the NBA will be voting on a new plan to resume league play in Orlando, Florida. The league’s return will be voted on in a conference call reportedly scheduled for Thursday, June 4th at 12:30 PM.
It’s expected that on this call, the league’s Governors will agree to a 22-team format for its return. Nine Eastern Conference teams and Thirteen Western Conference teams will be invited for play, sources say.
The return will have 8 regular season games and a possible play-in tournament for the 8th seed of the playoffs. Here’s the report from Sportscenter:
