Governor Larry Hogan gave up update on what steps Maryland will take to battle this Covid-19 pandemic and one of the biggest updates is Maryland schools will remain closed! While many of us kinda seen this coming hearing it from Hogan Wednesday during a press conference made it official. Online and distance learning opportunities will still continue though. The school department is releasing “Maryland Together: Recovery Plan for Education,’ a comprehensive plan for long term recovery.

CBS Baltimore reports,

Local superintendents will make decisions on graduations, as long as they comply with social distancing measures.

Maryland State School Superintendent Karen Salmon said different methods of returning to school could be included in both Stage Two and Three of the state’s recovery plan.
