Subway service was stopped Thursday morning in both directions from Mondawmin and Johns Hopkins according to Baltimore fire officials.

Officials say the cause is due to emergency fire activity at Johns Hopkins and Mondawmin Stations.

MTA has put a temporary bus bridge in place from Charles Center to Johns Hopkins Station.

West Coldspring to State Center is currently only getting by on a single track.

The Maryland Department of Transportation said the Metro SubwayLink Service Advisory is expected to end around 11:18 a.m.
