The lastest break out of E. Coli happened a while ago but I didn’t press this because we didn’t have all the facts. The fact that E. Coli can get into meat or vegetables is scary but you have to look at the source of your food before you consume it. www.health.com
Colorado-based meat producer Cargill Meat Solutions is recalling over 130,000 lbs. of ground beef products due to a possible E. coli contamination.
The United States Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service(FSIS) announced the recall on Wednesday following reports of a death and 17 people falling ill with E.Coli. Those affected reported feeling sick between July 5 and July 25 and after an investigation, the government organization confirmed that the “probable source” of the outbreak was Cargill Meat.
