If the sun is out, you already know them bikes are out. Summer is definitely the time where you will see more dirt bikes out. However, if you do have a dirtbike and you don’t have your papers, you’re setting yourself up for trouble with the law.

Baltimore City Police have issued a warning to folks who are caught riding a dirt bike illegally. According to Fox 45, if they are caught, they will be arrested and their bike will get seized.

The reason that police are cracking down on dirt bikes is for safety reasons. Chief T.J. Smith, Baltimore City Police Spokesman, said that “Each year, undoubtedly, someone who is either riding a dirt bike or gets struck by a dirt bike, dies or suffers serious physical harm.”
