Janelle Monae’s sexuality always seemed to be a subject of conversation. People have always wondered for some reason is she straight, gay, bisexual? Well it wasn’t until now that we finally know exactly what Janelle characterizes her self as. During an interview with Rolling Stone Magazine Janelle says she’s Pansexual.
Janelle Monae get’s very deep and exposes it all while interviewing with the magazine she say’s,
“Being a queer black woman in America, someone who has been in relationships with both men and women — I consider myself to be a free-ass mother****er,”
Janelle also talks about how her sexuality is built into her upcoming album “Dirty Computer”,
“I want young girls, young boys, nonbinary, gay, straight, queer people who are having a hard time dealing with their sexuality, dealing with feeling ostracized or bullied for just being their unique selves, to know that I see you. This album is for you. Be proud.”
