This week, I went back to Sportsmart (311 N. Exeter Street) to pick the Sick Kick of the Week. It was a toss up between the Air Jordan 12s in dark grey suede and the 97 Nike Air Max Ultra (Boy’s Grade School).

After talking to Sportsmart expert Craig, he recommended the Jordans because they recently dropped, but also said the Air Max because they were the selling more than the J’s. After surveying the store, I chose Air Max.
Air Max 97, a Nike running shoe designed by Christian Tresser, was inspired by Japan’s high-speed Bullet Trains and features a mix of leather, foam and full-length visible Air. The 20-year classic comes in different flavors but the Boy’s grade school style comes in gym blue, obsidian and summit white.
