We are sending our prayers out to Congressman Elijah Cummings after undergoing a minimally invasive medical procedure Wednesday at Johns Hopkins Hospital to treat aortic stenosis.
WBALTV reports,
The procedure, called Trans Arterial Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), was used to correct narrowing of the aortic valve, the congressman’s office said.
The congressman will remain hospitalized for a few days.
