So far we have seen biopics for New Edition, Aaliyah, TLC, and Whitney Houston. It’s been rumored that there is a Jodeci and Michael Jackson one on the way. Well, we might as well go ahead and get ready to add another name to the list of biopics. According to TJB, sources are reporting that TV One will be doing a biopic for the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina.
“TV One feels like they can tell her story in a way that will resonate with her fans. There’s so much about her life that some people didn’t know about – outside of the headlines. They think they can pull it off.”
This comes just days after the 2 year anniversary of Bobbi Kristina’s death.
Casting has already begun for the biopic. It has been revealed that Vivica Fox is supposed to play BK’s aunt, Pat Houston. While, Demetria McKinney will play Whitney.
