Dre’s #breakfastbite.. The civil rights investigation in Freddie Gray’s death remains undetermined as Trump enters the White House. What are your thoughts?

Kevin Boardley Keep it

Leslie Alston Good Morning Dre Johnson! Money doesn’t make up for a life, but in this society, some people feel giving a large sum of money right there wrong because the family accepted the money!

blacklivesmatter_scorpion Gm, That male caller that just called in is absolutely correct. When they excepted the money that was justice for judicial system. There was no way they were going to make a payout and convict them officer’s. Smh!

from_thecitythat_reads America is not here to protect and serve black men…And never will be…You know whose job that is? Black men…It’s time to serve and protect us…

___untameable The investigation is going to take a backseat. Sadly, Trump’s administration is not concerned about that. They have their own agenda.

damm_mali The thing is we have to accept reality. We know what happened and we know who was last seen with him. He couldn’t have done it himself but we have to figure out a way that it doesn’t happen again. Just like in the civil rights era, they protested, lead a boycott, and finally rioted when MLK was assassinated. We have done 2 out of the 3 listed. Yet I feel that boycotting will be the only way we get to people. We haven’t got that far because we’re so intertwined in it. What we need to do is start taking care of ourselves. We need to Invest in the Black Community. Support local black owned businesses and shops. Promote rec centers and after school programs. Attend pta meetings and school events at your child’s school. It takes a village to raise a child. I’m ranting but it’s bout time we do some sit-ins and plenty more marches. This is not a trend this is our Legacy that’s at stake.
