In an emergency order just announced, The U.S. Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation have just banned Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on all flights. If you’re caught trying to fly with a Galaxy Note 7, your phone will be confiscated and you could “face fines”. Even if you try to sneak your phone in your luggage, you could face “criminal possession”.
Transportation Secretary, Anthony Foxx, in a statement said “We recognize that banning these phones from airlines will inconvenience some passengers, but the safety of all those aboard an aircraft must take priority. Even one fire incident inflight poses a high risk of severe personal injury and puts many lives at risk.
