Beyonce’s Lemonade is still on the tip of everybody’s tongue. We have been wondering if all the hurt, pain, and cheating is from Beyonce’s marriage to Jay Z, is it Momma Tina’s marriage to Matthew or if it’s just great creative.
Speaking to KTRK, Tina Lawson, opened up about who the marriage issues that Bey is singing about, about.
“It could be about anyone’s marriage. I think that everybody at one time or another has been betrayed, lied to, it’s about the pain – and it’s about the healing process – and it’s about how do you get past that and move on.”
She also said that Lemonade is about healing.
“People make it all about the cheating and betrayal and, yes, that’s a part of it because that is something you have to heal from,” she said. “But the overall film, if you really listen to the poetry, it is one of hope and redemption and hopefully that can be healing for people.”
