Jared Fogle has become the face of controversy today, as reports surfaced that his home was raided by authorities over an investigation of his involvement in a child pornography case.
As the Subway spokesman has not been arrested, or given any charges after the search, former executive director of the Jared Foundation, Russell Taylor, was arrested previously on federal child porn charges.
In light of his Indiana home being searched in potential connection to the case, the company has reportedly decided to suspend their relationship with Fogle.
They released a statement reading:
We are shocked about the news & believe it is related to a former Jared Foundation employee. We are monitoring the situation closely.

Subway’s PR manager, Cindy Carraquilla, also said of the decision:
“Jared continues to cooperate with authorities and he expects no actions to be forthcoming. Both Jared and Subway agree that this was the appropriate step to take.”
We will continue to update this story as more information comes in.
