Today commemorates the 50th Anniversary of The March on Washington where a small town preacher took the podium and told the world about a dream he had the night before that even today, we’re still talking about. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dreamed of equality, love, respect and freedom. Not sure how he’d feel about how the world is today, but I know his legacy lives on in all of us who believed in his dream and what it meant for our lives today! It was marked as the “…greatest demonstration for of freedom in the history of our nation”-Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Watch Dr. King’s speech that took place at the Lincoln Memorial 50 years ago today!
