Over 18 people were shot in 11 different incidents since Friday. Eight of those victims are dead. Police are investigating all of the shootings at the same time.
On Friday, Andre Witherspoon was shot and killed on Ducatel Street near North Avenue. Early Saturday morning on Kenwood Avenue in East Baltimore, a woman died in a multiple shooting. A man and a woman were killed Saturday night in the 1400 block of Pennsylvania avenue on the Westside. Just one hour later, another murder in East Baltimore along Greenmount Avenue near 26th street.
Early Sunday morning, a man died in a shooting near West Belvedere Avenue at St. Charles Avenue in northwest Baltimore. Another shooting happened on Bennett Place Sunday night in the area of Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard near Franklin Street. The victim did not make it.By Monday morning 20 people had been shot in the city.
