Many women are offended by rapper Rick Ross’s explicit song lyrics in the song U.O.E.N.O., released in February by the Atlanta MC Rocko.
His lyrics “Put molly all in her champagne, she ain’t even know it, I took her home and I enjoyed that, she ain’t even know it.” were so controversial that even his business partners Ultraviolet and Reebok aren’t happy. They are upset because they are seemingly sponsoring someone who condones rape in their music.
More than 72,000 people have signed a petition and yesterday, the group staged a protest at the Reebok’s flagship store in Manhattan.
Rozay has since apologized via twitter but it seems like no one is cutting him any slack. It is a very touchy subject and the lyrics can be easily offensive. You know The D.A. had to speak to Rozay himself to get to the bottom of this controversy.
