The Ravens will release linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo known for his work on special teams and his advocacy of same-sex marriage. The move is expected to be official by the end of this week. However, Ayanbadejo said his goodbyes to the Ravens and Baltimore on his Twitter page Wednesday afternoon.
“I would like to thank the city of Baltimore and the Ravens organization for an amazing ride,” Ayanbadejo said on Twitter. “We will forever be united as champions!”

killakabDo I like all the cuts .. No .. But it’s understandable that they don’t want to wait until these players are to old and slow to play .. Rebuild now and get some future stars in that can carry the team for the next 5-10 years

terrell75The Ravens were in 20th place in defense. I think everybody forgot about those games when the defense was letting teams get a first down on 3rd & 18. When they won the Super Bowl everybody forgot how bad there defense really was. They just signed some really good players in Dumervil from Denver, Huff from Oakland & Spears from the Giants. Reed & Pollard didn’t even want to practice with pads on later in the season. The Ravens are still going to be ok. It just seems funny about these cuts because they just won the Super Bowl @drejohnson1
