Obama? Romney? Question 6? Question 7? Republican? Democrat? Independant? Senate? Who’s on third? All these questions can make voting a frutrating experience, huh? Well, early voting ends today and election day is this coming Tuesday! Still undecided?

Maybe these tips will help you out:

Know how much experience they have. A presidential candidate should have plenty of experience having been in a government position. Being the president is the most important position in government, so the person elected should have plenty of years under their belt being in somewhat similar situations and settings.

Read their persona. If you feel that the candidate comes off phony, then chances are there are other people that feel the same way, some of those people possibly including world leaders. The president should be intelligent, kind and charming and should radiate those qualities when s/he in the presence of others. Someone who comes off with those qualities can form a better rapport with important world leaders as well as the citizens of the United States.

Know where they stand on issues that are important to you. Many people consider a candidates stance on abortion, healthcare and immigration the three most important factors in making their decision. Knowing this information would be a good place to start if you are just beginning to make your choice.

Judge if you believe that their goals are realistic. If the candidate makes promises that seem incredibly far fetched and gives no base plan on how they’re going to go about making them happen, then chances are that it’s just a lot of empty promises. If a candidate says they’re going to do something, they should have a realistic idea on how they can do it before making promises that it’s going to get done.
