Between the summer and this fall, Mary J Blige will be pretty busy! She finishing up My Life 2011, as well working on 2 new movies.
BET.com reports that after many delays, MJB will play the Nina Simone biopic. “I’m definitely still doing it and I’m in acting classes for it now. We start shooting at the end of the month!”
Blige is also preparing to star in Rock of Ages, with Tom Cruise. “I’m playing Justice Charlier, a gentleman’s club owner. I’m having so much fun preparing for it, and I know Tom. I love Tom. He just really wants the best for everybody.”
