Baltimore Police and the FBI are in day nine of their search to bring North Carolina teen Phylicia Barnes home. The honor student came to Baltimore to visit family for the holidays and hasn’t been seen since. Barnes reportedly walked outside of the apartment where she was visiting an older sister around 1:30 pm on December 28, sent a text message to her sister and then vanished. Her debit card and cell phone have not been used and her facebook page has not been updated.

According to The Baltimore Sun, police said they have exhausted all leads that have come from the community, including one directing them to a specific location along the shoulder of a road in Leakin Park. More than 100 officers, including dive teams and others with cadaver dogs, searched for seven hours Tuesday but found nothing. Detectives are now suspecting foul play.
