Rapper Beanie Sigel is facing criminal tax fraud charges after he allegedly failed to file his taxes for a period of three years.
From 2002-2004 Beans (real name: Dwight Grant) reportedly earned $1.5 million in income.
Despite the allegations, Sigel’s defense lawyer Fortunato Perri Jr. says his client was behind bars during some of those years, and had others handling his finances.
Perri hopes Sigel can avoid prison due to the circumstances.
