Donell Jones came through Baltimore Wednesday to chop it up with 92Q Jams’ Kiki Brown. The r&b singer is BACK and he’s still making baby-making ballads. Lyrics, released in stores on Tuesday, has tracks that are reminiscent of his classic sound. (Sidenote: Thank goodness because I hate when artists come back to reinvent themselves sounding a HOTT mess.)
Jones is excited to be back on the scene after a hiatus. He took some time off to spend more time with his family. He has five daughters ranging from the age of 2 to 18 years. “Love Like This” is getting great reviews although he admits that his favorite track off the album “Just A Little” will get you ‘in the mood.’
“I just love making good music and I’ve done it once again.” Despite him disappearing from the scene, he admits that he has a loyal fan base that has followed him along the way. “I’m glad to be back,” he said.
