92Q’s own Kelson “The Urban Informer” made the “Power 30.” At the young age of 28 years, this is a HUGE accomplishment! We tip our hats to you Kels! Check the list to see where Kelson ranked.

The Source Magazine, the leading publication of Hip-Hop music, culture, and politics, continues with a thirteen-year tradition in music and entertainment by today announcing the release of its annual “Power 30” issue. The “Power 30” recognizes and honors those who have individually progressed the culture of hip-hop over the last year. The Source has assembled a powerful collective list of leaders in music, business, politics, lifestyle and other facets of the entertainment and ranked them one through thirty.

“For the better part of 15 years, the Power 30 has been a staple not only for The Source but for those executive figures in and around music, business, entertainment and politics who have been creating and re-defining influence outside of the traditional sense of ‘who made the most money last year,’ but not receiving the recognition from corporate America,” says Rodriguez. “ The exponential growth of Hip-Hop into a billion dollar business has catapulted our executives into the spotlight and made them applicable to any “Power” list. It’s our job to document and give them their due props.”
