Rumors are spreading that Beyonce, we should probably say Matthew, has convinced Jay-Z to hyphenate his last name. Between Tina and Matthew, they only have two daughters, so once both of them are married, the Knowles name will disappear.
Beyonce Knowles and Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter are said to take on each other’s surnames in an effort to carry on the Knowles moniker. They want to keep Knowles because Beyonce’s parents didn’t have any sons and they’re keen to keep the name going strong, especially if they don’t produce any children themselves
Beyonce and Jay-Z may be jumping to conclusions because if AlexSandra Wright’s (Matthew’s K alleged mistress) unborn baby turns out to be a boy and Matthew’s child, then the legacy continues.
